The mysteries of necessity are at the core of Nauthiz. It is central to manipulating Wyrd so that desired outcomes can be attained through negotiating with the energies of the Norns. Invoking need is more powerful than wishing, but what we need and what we desire are not always the same. In this sense, Nauthiz can protect us from ourselves, but its lessons are often harsh. The force of the past exerts its effect on us in the present. Previous action catches up with us and attempts to restrain and restrict future action, which is the counter-movement of the cyclical processions of Jera. However, armed with humility we can learn our lessons from not only our own errors, but the mistakes and successes of others.

Action governed by Nauthiz is rooted in common sense. The magic of common sense is that it is not so common, because our desires and ideals eclipse our true need and perception of real circumstances. As a war rune, Nauthiz empowers the invoker to have the courage and wisdom to recognize what must be done in an otherwise complex situation. Necessity is the mother of invention. No pain, no gain. It is connected with the harshness of reality, like Hagalaz.

We have a painful fear of necessity and a love hate relationship with our needs. This is illustrated most excellently in the symbol of Nauthiz as two sticks rubbing together to create the ‘Need-Fire’. Our need for fire as a species is balanced with our fear of the power of fire. Consider this well and you will develop a profound understanding of this rune.

A unisex heavy blend hooded sweatshirt is relaxation itself. The material is a thick blend of cotton and polyester. This makes for a plush, soft feel alongside warmth. It's also a great surface for printing. There are no side seams. A spacious kangaroo pocket hangs in front. The hood's drawstring is the same color as the base sweater.

If an order is shipped to the following Provinces or Territories, CUI must collect the applicable taxes as described:

Canadian taxes are not collected on orders shipped outside of Canada. However, orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to applicable import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. These fees are collected by the carrier or Brokerage Company and the purchaser is responsible for paying them. CUI is unable to give estimates for these fees. Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to proceed.

Back Orders 

If an item is on back order we will ship you the item(s) of your order that are in stock. When the item(s) become available we will ship you the remainder of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

 

Return policy

Returns

You have ​7​ business days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have the digital receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

 You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. ​  

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
